Psychotherapy

Our approach to psychotherapy is pragmatic, person-centered and influenced by several different schools of thought.  We have found wisdom in psychodynamic theory, ego-states (parts) work and cognitive-behavioral therapy.  We believe Mindfulness is key to all emotional, mental and spiritual healing.  We have found Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and EMDR (find out more about EMDR here) to be highly effective interventions for a variety of behavioral and emotional struggles.  We have also found that archetypal approaches to understanding internal conflict, such as astrology or dreamwork, can be equally effective, and we are happy to use these approaches with people who have an interest in this type of work. We know that a relationship of respect, kindness and trust is key to positive change and growth.

We are licensed to provide psychotherapy in the states of New Hampshire and Vermont.  We work with people who are 16 years and older. We can meet with you either in-person at our office in downtown White River Junction, VT, or via Telehealth.  We see people for individual treatment, group therapy, or couple and family work.

We do not accept insurance, but we can provide you with a super bill that you can submit to your insurance company if desired.  We try to keep our fees reasonable and fair.  We want to make our services accessible to all who need them, and we are glad to discuss a reduced fee if you are struggling financially.
